Networks
The Networks section provides an overview of the organization's network infrastructure, highlighting connected devices, topology, and potential security vulnerabilities within the network.

The "Networks" grid lists all networks existing in the system. One can edit the details of a network by clicking on the edit icon [🖊] at the end of the network row (in the "Actions" column). Then, a window with all the details will appear. There, you can change the necessary information and view the assets that belong to this network (a.k.a. "Local assets") by scrolling down to the bottom of the screen. When you're finished, click the Save Changes button.

One can view the details of or delete a network by going to the three dots icon [â‹®] at the end of the network row and clicking on the "Preview" or "Delete" button, respectively. When clicking the "Preview" button, a window similar to the one when editing a network will appear. Scroll down to the bottom to view the local assets.

Creating a New Network
The system allows you to add new networks. To do so:
Click the "Create" button on the right top above the grid.
Fill in the necessary information in the form that appears and click Save Changes to save the new network.
Assets can be added to a network in the following two ways:
By selecting the network during the scan import (See more in the Scans)
By assigning global assets to a network (See more in Global Assets)
Local Assets
The local assets, i.e., the assets that belong to a network, can be found in the respective Network Details as described above. To view the list of assets, go to Networks, click the "Edit" or the "Preview" button in the three dots menu [â‹®], and scroll down in the form that appears. If there are assets assigned to the network, they will appear in the grid.
It is possible to add assets to the network in two ways:
By selecting the network during the scan import (See more in the Scans section);
By assigning global assets to a network (See more in the Global Assets section).
Editing Local Assets

To edit a local asset, follow the steps below:
Click on the Networks tab, which is described in this file from the main menu;
Click on the edit icon on the network to which the asset belongs. It is located at the end of that network's row (in the "Actions" column);
Scroll to the "Assigned Assets" section and find the local asset you want to edit.
The same edit icon can be found at the end of that asset's row under the "Actions" column, Click on it. Then, a window allowing you to make changes to that asset will appear.
Fill in the necessary information in the form and click on save "Save changes".
IP Address Checks
Upon entering the new IP address, the system will automatically verify if the IP is within the network's range. If the new IP address falls outside the network range, an error prompt will be displayed, informing you that the change is not possible and cannot be saved.
Collision Checks
If you edit the IP address or hostname of the asset, the system will perform collision checks to prevent duplicate assets. Choose the appropriate option based on the collision check results. Follow the steps provided below in case of such a collision:
Full Collision (Matching IP and Hostname):

If the new IP and hostname match an existing asset in the network, a pop-up will appear with the following options:
Merge the Local Asset with the existing one.
Cancel the modification.
Apart from the above, buttons for the following also appear in the pop-up window:
View Local Asset Details - See the asset details into which the current asset will be merged.
View Local Vulnerabilities - See the vulnerabilities of the asset into which the current asset will be merged.
View Current Asset Vulnerabilities - See the vulnerabilities of the current asset.
IP Collision (Matching IP but Different Hostname):

If the new IP matches an existing asset with a different hostname, a pop-up will appear with the following options:
Merge the Local Asset with the existing one.
Add Local Asset as a new asset.
Cancel the modification.
The View Local Asset Details, View Local Vulnerabilities, and View Current Asset Vulnerabilities buttons also appear in the full collision scenario described above.
Hostname Collision (Matching Hostname but Different IP):

If the new hostname matches an existing asset with a different IP, a pop-up will appear with the following options:
Merge the Local Asset with the existing one.
Add the Local Asset as a new asset.
Cancel the modification.
